Dr Mead Dental Care
MISSION
Dr. Mead and his team have been committed to delivering dental excellence for over twenty years with state of the art treatment tailored to the needs of each individual patient with their comfort in mind. Ethics and patient education are paramount in Dr. Mead's standards of care to allow patients the ability to make informed decisions regarding their own dental health. Whether you seek general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry or dental implant restoration, Dr. Mead will provide you with a healthy attractive smile by using his extensive experience, training, technical skills and artistry for the benefit of each patient.

Dr. Mead graduated with honors from Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, California with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He also received a B.S. degree in Human Biology. In addition to practicing dentistry full time, he has been a part time faculty member at both Loma Linda University Dental School and University of Kentucky Dental School, Lexington. Dr. Mead has also continued teaching various dental courses including Anatomy and Physiology at Mohave Community College, Lake Havasu City, for over 15 years. Dr. Mead has always been intensely interested in science and art which naturally led him to a field that allows him to use his knowledge of science and artistry together. He has continued his love of art outside of dentistry exploring many art forms including his favorite which is sculpture. He has created many sculptures in both bronze and stone, one of which can be seen at the London Bridge in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, a life size sculpture of C. V. Wood and Robert McCulloch, the city founders. A project directed by local artist, Lou Hunt, on which he assisted. Dr. Mead has numerous other interests including music, boating and flying as well as continuing his education in ancient world history, science and technology, philosophy and comparative religion. He has been married for over 25 years to Patty Mead, Mohave County Public Health Director. They have 2 adult children and 6 beautiful grand children.

Our entire dental team is dedicated to providing you with excellent and ethical service. Our team consists of Jacque Dintelman, Office Manager and Receptionist with over 15 years of loyal service in our practice. Two full-time Registered Dental Hygienists, Ali Ruiz and Jen Calvi, who are available to provide gentle and quality dental hygiene. Additionaly, 4 friendly and professional dental assistants, Charlotte Champlin, Tarran Burris, Amy Roger and Kristi Klatt, help provide quality care for every patient. We look forward to meeting you at your next appointment.
